Regular Application Process:
To apply for the SciVet Summer Program, simply fill out the Program Application Form and submit a 500 word essay explaining why you want to attend. Send the program application form and essay (in pdf format) to Courtney Butler (courtney.butler@colostate.edu) by February 2, 2024.
Application decisions will be made by March 1, 2024.
Once selected, students will be directed to the official registration site with Conference & Event Services and the Waiver Form, Treatment Form, Student Code of Conduct Form and Emergency Card (with a copy of the student’s insurance card) will be due to the Natural Sciences Education & Outreach Center by March 15, 2024 in order to secure their spot in this summer’s program.
Costs are:
- Residential Tuition – $1,670 (this includes room and board for 5 nights)
- Commuter Tuition – $1,070
- Parking Fee (optional) – $65 additional fee if a student will be driving themselves and needing to park on campus
- Late Departure (optional) – $250 additional fee if a residential student needs to stay over to Saturday morning
Please note that credit card payments are not accepted for this program. Payments must be made via check or money order to Colorado State University and sent to Conference & Event Services.
Scholarship Application Process:
The Natural Sciences Education & Outreach Center will offer a limited number of fee waiver scholarships for students who may not otherwise be able to attend. To apply for scholarship aid, complete the Program & Scholarship Application Form and submit a 500 word essay explaining why you want to attend. Send the program application and essay (in pdf format) to Courtney Butler (courtney.butler@colostate.edu) by February 2, 2024.
Application and scholarship decisions will be made by March 1, 2024.

Para aplicar al Programa de Verano de SciVet, complete el Formulario de Aplicacion al Programa y envíe un ensayo (en inglés) de 500 palabras que explique por qué desea asistir. - Tarifa de estacionamiento (opcional) – $65 de tarifa adicional si el participante (viajero) conducirá diariamente y necesitará estacionarse en el campus
