Mike Whatley is an emeritus member of the National Park Service. His career spanned four decades and culminated in being Chief of Education and Outreach for the Natural Resource Stewardship and Science Directorate. Beginning in 2015, he consults on our curriculum work with the parks.
Mike Viney has been a teacher-in-residence at our center for over a decade, beginning with the Rocky Mountain Teacher Education Collaborative (RMTEC) and continuing with our SciTrek summer camp. Mike teaches at Blevins Middle School in Fort Collins.
Jess was our first early career TiR in the summer of 2013. She helped with the Every Drop Counts Water Workshop for Hawaiian teachers, SciTrek, and helped us develop the Soil Carbon, Solar Cars, Acid Deposition, and Optics kits. Jess teaches at Loveland High School.
Dave has been working with us on the GetWET program since 2004. Dave was the 2011-2012 academic year MSP TiR and we got to work with him on infiltration activities. Dave recently reitred from Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins.
Brad was the MSP TiR for the 2010-2011 academic year and helped us pull together the School Water Budget activity. Brad teaches at Kinard Middle School in Fort Collins.
Gary volunteered at the EOC in the spring of 2011. He was instrumental in testing and perfecting the Get Energized science kit. He teaches at the SOARS program in Loveland.
